Unissued USGI M1 Steel Pot Chin Strap with Chin Cup and Snap Buttons — Dated April 1988, Sealed in Original Packaging with Instruction Sheet, Genuine U.S. Military Surplus
A genuine, never-issued U.S. government chin strap for the M1 steel helmet, still sealed in its original clear bag with the original installation instructions. It’s olive drab webbing with a chin cup and snap buttons. Use it to replace a worn or missing strap, or to finish a bare steel pot. The instruction sheet shows how to remove an old strap and how to snap the new one over the D-rings, the swivel bale loops, on each side of the shell.
