FIELD NOTES
A embroidered shield patch featuring the German Bundeswehr eagle (Bundesadler) with "BUNDESWEHR" lettering across the top. Black and white embroidery on a scalloped shield-shaped backing, believed to date to the 1970s.
Details:
- Design: Bundeswehr eagle emblem with "BUNDESWEHR" text banner
- Colors: Black and white embroidered thread
- Shape: Scalloped shield/crest style
- Era: Believed 1970s or 1980s (per provenance)
- Fully embroidered construction
Collector note: The reverse retains its original embroidery threads and woven backing, including normal loose thread ends associated with the manufacturing process. These have intentionally been left untrimmed and unaltered. Please see front and reverse photographs for construction and condition.
Ideal for: militaria collectors, German military patch collectors, or display in a collection alongside other Bundeswehr-era pieces.
