Genuine USGI M1 Steel Pot Helmet — Rear Seam, Swivel Bale, U.S. Military Surplus
The M1 steel helmet, nicknamed the “steel pot,” was the standard U.S. military combat helmet from WWII into the 1980s. This is a genuine steel shell in the rear-seam, swivel-bale style. Nothing in it is a reproduction. Choose the configuration you want, then build your own set from our add-ons.
Choose your configuration:
-
Steel Pot + Liner: the steel shell with its genuine liner and webbing suspension.
-
Steel Pot + Liner + M81 Cover: the steel shell with its genuine liner and webbing suspension, plus a new original M81 Woodland camouflage cover with foliage slits.
- Steel Pot Only: the steel shell alone, with no liner or suspension. It suits display, restoration, and pairing with a liner you already own.
