Blackhawk Industries was born out of that exact problem: founder Mike Noell, a U.S. Navy SEAL who served with SEAL Team Eight and the Naval Special Warfare Development Group, had his pack strap fail in the middle of a minefield in northern Iraq, dumping his gear on the ground. He survived, and promised himself that if he made it home, he'd build gear that wouldn't fail an operator at the worst possible moment. Starting as a small cut-and-sew operation out of his Virginia Beach garage in 1993, Noell turned that promise into purpose-built tactical equipment engineered from real operator feedback — solving, at scale, the same problem operators had been solving by hand for years.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Pottstown Army Navy","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":43805291839565,"sku":"561602BK","price":27.95,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0718\/1362\/7981\/files\/BLACKHAWK_OmegaMagPouchFront_ceaeb589-e3ce-454c-9b05-4cf50762bc6e.jpg?v=1789845882","url":"https:\/\/pottstownarmynavy.com\/products\/blackhawk-dorp-leg-mag-pocuh","provider":"Pottstown Army Navy","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
